My name is Jessica, I am a Calgary born and raised, borderline crunchy Christian mama with three beautiful children whom I had the privilege of birthing and two other beautiful babies whom I will one day meet in Heaven.

I've had one hospital birth, two home births, one of which was a water birth!

I'd consider myself to have a more holistic approach to life and desire to empower women to understand their bodies and to feel confident in their choice to give birth, regardless of how it happens. I believe that informed choice is what can make or break us having a birth story that we feel proud of and empowered by.

My journey to becoming a doula has been 16 years in the making and I am so excited to walk with families on this journey and be a small part of their stories.

It all began sixteen years ago when I attended my first birth. It was after attending three more births that I realized how beautiful this work is and how much I could make a difference.

Sadly it was not until 2024 when I experienced my second miscarriage when I realized that becoming a Doula was one of the greatest ways that I could heal my heart, share my story and empower others through their stories, regardless of what they looked like.

The joy of pregnancy and the pain of loss, have created in me a passion to support families through the exciting yet sometimes emotional journey of conception and pregnancy to their birth story and beyond.
